Two PhD scholarships are available, however, led to projects in the research group of Dr. Stuart Clarke to work from October 2011. The projects will study the adsorption and mixing behavior of molecules at the interface solid / solution with a range of new techniques, including X-ray and neutron scattering, and calorimetry. The project is the worldwide application of international institutions as well as in Cambridge.Applicants must have or receive about, at least the equivalent of a British II.1 honors chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or a related discipline. The scholarship covers tuition fees and a maintenance agreement to grant to nationals of the EU United Kingdom and others who are entitled to home fee EU / prices. Non-EU citizens can apply if they have to overcome the extra costs for students from abroad to cover financing.
